Banner Stands FAQ
What is the difference between an X-banner stand and a retractable banner stand?
An X-banner stand stretches the banner on a lightweight X-shaped frame, with hooks through grommets at the corners. It's the most economical option and works best for short-term use. A retractable, or roll-up, stand keeps the banner inside a weighted base: you pull it up, attach the support pole, and roll it back in to protect the print when the event is over.
Does the printed banner come with the stand?
Yes. Every banner stand ships with your full-color banner already printed. On retractable stands it's installed in the base, and X-stand banners arrive with grommets in place, ready to hang.
Which banner stands are double-sided?
The Silverwing and Doublestep carry a printed banner on each side, so your message reads from both directions. All our other stands are single-sided.
Can I change the banner later?
The Silverstep and Doublestep attach the banner with Velcro hook-and-loop strips, which makes swapping graphics between events easy. On the Econoroll and Steppy the banner is fixed in the base with permanent adhesive, so they're best for a message you'll keep using.
What size banner stand do I need?
A 24-inch-wide stand fits tight spots like a narrow entrance or the side of a booth table. For trade show booths and larger rooms, a 33.5- or 36-inch width at 78 to 81 inches tall gives you more room for your logo, photos and call to action.
