Our Printing Method
Every laminated sticker is fully odorless and dry, waterproof and UV-proof, tack-free and smooth to the touch, and sealed under a protective 3M luster laminate.
Printing happens on high-definition eco-solvent machines in high-resolution mode. Even type as small as 3pt reproduces crisply, colors come out deep and gradients blend seamlessly. An 8-color ink set laid down at 1440 DPI gives the stickers their exceptionally vivid look.
On top of every sticker goes a premium cast 3M 8519 Luster Laminate. It delivers outstanding UV and water resistance and stands up very well to chemicals, solvents and abrasion. The laminate also extends the inks' resistance to UV fading, keeping colors true for up to 8 years under normal conditions.
Size and Shape Choices
Choose any size from 2 × 2 inches up to 12 × 12 inches, entered in inches as height × width. Standard shapes include square, rectangle, oval and round. Rectangles can have optional 0.125-inch rounded corners that stop the corners from peeling up or "dog-earing."
You can also have laminated stickers contour-cut to any simple single shape, whether that's your logo, an emblem or another simple custom outline.
How Your Stickers Arrive
Smaller stickers are printed together on sheets, usually 4 to 8 per sheet. Larger sizes are delivered one by one, ready to peel and stick right out of the box.
Artwork Guidelines
A real person on our team looks over each uploaded file before it's printed, and we only print when the file can deliver a perfect, uncompromised 100% result.
For big files, zip them up and share them through any cloud storage service that doesn't require a password.
- Bleed
- Contour-cut stickers and anything in a non-standard shape must include 0.125 inch of bleed on all sides of each cut path. We reject custom-cut orders that come in without bleed. Our die-cut file setup guide explains how to add it, and you're always welcome to contact us directly.
- PDF / EPS / AI
- Size the file to match the finished sticker, in either CMYK or RGB. Embed linked images, convert all fonts to outlines and expand strokes. Place only high-resolution raster images, scaled between 50% and 100%. Leave the file free of any password, and export it as a PDF whenever possible.
- TIFF / PSD / PSB
- Size the file to match the finished sticker at 300 dpi in RGB, with all layers merged into one background layer.
- PNG / JPEG
- Size the file to match the finished sticker at 300 dpi in RGB, with no compression, at Photoshop's quality setting of 12.
